Jason Whindus
Is there any way Tibco Cloud Analyst can be added to Amazon Appstream if Appstream requires the shared_computer_win.zip install to allow multiple users to login?
Fredrik Rosell
Hello Jason,There is an open idea for providing a "Shared computer TIBCO Cloud Spotfire Analyst installer" - https://ideas.tibco.com/ideas/TS-I-7176 - that you could vote for. Note: There is no explicit support for using Spotfire Analyst with Amazon Appstream. If this is correct - "Amazon AppStream 2.0 enables you to quickly and easily install, test, and update your applications using the image builder. Any application that runs on Microsoft Windows Server 2012 R2, Windows Server 2016, Windows Server 2019, or Amazon Linux 2 is supported" (https://aws.amazon.com/appstream2/features/?pg=ln&sec=hs), this clashes with the Analyst system requirements. Analyst is generally only supported on Windows 10 and 11 (latest version: https://docs.tibco.com/pub/spotfire/general/sr/sr/topics/spotfire_analyst_desktop_12_5.html), with the only exceptions where Windows Server OS:es like those listed above are also supported is when specifically used with Citrix and Remote Desktop Services. So, I recommend creating an idea for official Appstream support as well.
