In Spotfire 12 I got an imported table from oracle. The dataset is stored in the analysis. Now I want to import another table from the same database. It's automatically added as external data. How to change the dataset to internal data?

If you want to embed the data click on Data/Data Table Properties and update the "Store data" settings.

When you imported this data you chose to keep it External (in-db), which is why you cannot embed the data. You'll need to re-add the data, but choose 'Import' instead of External'.

No. I got this dialog only for the first dataset, where I chose import.

The second dataset I added via - Data Connection Properties - Settings - Edit - New Custom Query.

After doing this, there is no dialog as shown by you...

I think my issue is, that I was creating the first dataset in Spotfire Desktop, but then I was opening the file in Spotfire Analyst, where data loading from external sources is blocked by the admin.
