Lucia Campos
Does anyone know if there is a fast and easy way of calculating the area under the curve (AUC) with spotfire?
Fredrik Rosell
Hello,I'm not aware of any built-in/native Spotfire way of doing this (but maybe someone else here has an idea)Without knowing exactly what you want to achieve (including how to present it), I would look into what can be done using the ability to run R/TERR (random AUC example in R here: https://www.statology.org/auc-in-r/) or Python scripts from Spotfire, passing the data there for calculation and possibly also basing your curve/what you visualize in Spotfire on the returned data (note that you can also return an image and visualize that in Spotfire - see https://support.tibco.com/s/article/How-to-create-a-graph-using-TERR-by-calling-open-source-R-functions-via-the-RinR-package)Best RegardsFredrik
Lucia Campos
Hi,Thank you very much for your answer and the interesting information. I was aware of the R/TERR possibility but I was mostly wondering if there was as you said a built-in Spotfire tool to do it. Best,Lucia
