#DrSpotfire I have a question is there any way to enable real time updates using tranformation in calculated columns, my concern is that the values are not getting updated automatically, I need to manually re-run the calculated column using data canvas.

Reason for using transformations instead of calculated columns is that for customized analysis like test summary report, the data is not actually present if used calculated columns instead of transformation.

Sounds that you need to work with streaming data.

As a side note, I find the Spotfire help as a comprehensive and very well written and detailed sets of books with not only information on what each button does, but unlike many other software it backs up the ideas with concepts and theory. I found it that is often and underrated resource available a keystroke away! F1
