Opening a deployed Spotfire report only in the view mode

Hi,

I've deployed a Spotfire report on a Spotfire server/Spotfire Analyst.

I need to allow some users to access to this report only in the view mode without showing the menu bar

Moreover, the users cannot change the view mode in the edit mode.

Any suggests to me in order to solve a such issue, please? Thanks

Hi Pasquale,

Are you woried about the users to change the analysis, or see elements in the dashboard they should not see? In case of the first you should simply give them read only rights to the folder that the dashboard is in.

In case of the second, as far as I know you can only hide the menu either when embedded, or when accessing the analysis through a link to the webplayer via the Options.

supposing to hide the menu it isn't more clear how performing a such operation.

I've deployed my report on the Spotfire Server.

Do I need to act inside Spotfire Analyst or inside the library visible in the administration portal of the Spotfire Server?

Hi,

I've disabled the Edit mode when the deployed Spotfire report is opened.

Now, could it be possible to hide or disable the following voices "Close" and "View library" in File menu, please?

I've tried to play with the user group licenses.
