How to create a grand total line for all lines on a line chart

I have a line chart that has multiple lines seperated by color. I want to add a line that is the sum of all these lines.

Hi,

You can try one of below:

Method 1.

Pivot -> add rows -> add pivot transformation before adding rows but w/o colour categories -> create new column "Category" = "Total" ( this column should be matched to your color by column in the add rows transformation )

Method 2.

Create two line charts (one with color by and other w/o color by ) stacked on top of each other ("Total" chart on top and "Color by" chart on the bottom) ->Hide all the scales and lines -> add labels.

Note: This method might distortthe total vs others as it's not the same scale and visuals might be different sizes
