Michael Rightmire
I can connect Spotfire to existing GraphQL functions (queries) using an ODBC add-on driver (CData.) However, this only allows access to existing functions. Most of these GraphQL functions (queries) require input (a variable such as an "ID" to identify what data to return.) Can Spotfire Data functions be used to exectue a query against a GraphQL server - and return that data into Spotfire for use in tables Alternatively, can the CData ODBC drive accept the ID parameter into its pseudo-SQL format to call the data from GraphQL Can either of these be integrated into table links (I.e. the Spotfire user clicks on a row of data - which contains an ID - and then a GraphQL query instantiated dynamically to query GraphQL based on this ID) Thanks! Tushar Badlani
Hi Mike, You can use the on-demand data option for the ODBC connector for GraphQL, which can also be linked to the rows of ID as a marking, so as if a user clicks on an ID, the data-on-demand settings would query it with the parameter.
