Improve reusability in Spotfire

Hi Community!I can't find good guidelines to improve reusability of elements accros Spotfire dashboards. Does anybody have good documentation or guidelines

Specifically, I would like to be able ideally to do either of these:

 

Define a visual element once somewhere (say for example a text field with calculated values), and utilizethat "parent" element into many Spotfire dashboards, such that they remain "linked". Changes to the original ("parent") element should automaically propagate to all the "children" dashboards.

Have a catagogue of pre-defined elements (chart and table and connection) that I can quickly insert into any new dashboard without having to re-create the elements

Hi there - thank you for the question!

I'm afraid there's no easy way to do this right now. There are some ideas on the TIBCO Ideas portal - i.e. this one:

And there may be others too! It's definitely under consideration for future releases. Right now, the best you can do is to drag and drop visualisations between DXP files.
