What's the difference between "Visual", "VisualContent", and "Visualization"

I've been doing Spotfire scripting for quite long time, but I still haven't fully understood why we need both Visual type and VisualContent type When to use each type and what's the specific purpose of each type

The VisualContent is the abstract base class that all visualizations, custom visuallization class and text areas are deriving from this class.

The Visuallization type is the base class for all the built in visualizations.

The Visual class is a sealed class allows for direct manipulation of the visual items in the Document.Pages.Page.VIsuals collection.
