Invalid Type function call if

Hi All,

been browsing around the community and trying to add the IF statement in Spotfire 7.6; however it is returning error "Invalid type for function call if"

Can anybody help on this Is it due to the fact that the data table connection properties

Are you working with in-memory data, or external (in-database) data If you are working with external data, using the data connectors, they all support different functions depending on the type of source. This is usually written in the documentation in the help topics. For example under the connectors topic on the following link:

If you are using this expression in calculate column then it should work fine. And if you are using it in 'Values' the you need to provide aggregation.
