Spotfire: Anyway to hide selected columns in a table by just checking a box in a text area

Hi everyone,

I'm trying to see if there is a way to hide unwanted columns (but show them again if you want) by using a checkbox in a text area Similar to a filter on rows but I'm looking for a filter on columns. I'm hoping this is possible rather than creating a whole new tab with a data table that I edit directly. If anyone has any ideas, please let me know! Thank you in advance!
