Sundaram Sridharan
is there a way to use regular expression to define columns to transform in an unpivot transform. the columns that I need to transform hava a fixed part and a variable part which varies from one data set to another. It would be nice to define them using regex
Fabian Duerr
I don't see this as basic option in Spotfire 10.10 If you can work with R data functions, you can solve this. If you are an R user I recommend to have a look at the tidyverse packages (dplyr for data wrangling, tidyr for pivot/unpivot, stringr for regex). But of course there are other solutions with R, Python, IronPythonas well. So, YES this can be done with Spotfire. But it will require some work.
