Organize bookmarks in folders

Hi!

In older versions of Spotfire, it was possible to organize bookmarks on folders within the bookmarks panel. Im using versions 10 and 11 now and I don't see the option. Was this completely removed if yes, is there an analogous option now

Hi Amurillo,

I have not worked with older Spotfire versions like 6.5.2. So I can only tell you about my experience with bookmarks as of Spotfire 7.8. To me, it looks like the change in bookmarks storage was a part of the redesign in the Spotfire 7 versions.

Bookmarks are (now) stored in the LIB_ITEMS table in the Spotfire database. You can find them with specific queries if you like. You can find more information here:https://support.tibco.com/s/article/Tibco-KnowledgeArticle-Article-45125.

Hi! Thanks for your response. Yes, it would not exactly be the folders in the bookmark panel of the older version of Spotfire, but I will consider it.
