Hello,

We create a visualization using the tibco spotfire mod. Using javascript/Typescript and the API version is 1.2. Tibco server version 11.4.0

Question:

we build the code as follows

How to create a spk or sdn file to deploy the developed visualization in the server.

Hi Raj-4,

When you have embedded the mod in one of your dashboards, you should be able to save the mod to the library:https://tibcosoftware.github.io/spotfire-mods/docs/getting-started/.

Once saved in the library, it can be reused in other dashboards. You do not need to create a spk for this actually.

Kind regards,

Hello,

Thanks for the reply,

We need to share the mod from one user to another user and one system to other system(i.e., server). For that we saved the mod from the desktop application as

Now the file is saved in the local system. But If we use the mod file in different system or server. How to share the created mod.

Hi Raj-4,

The easiest way to share content between users and environments, in my opinion, would be to save the mods in the library and use the export/import library functionality.

By sharing mods in a central library folder, your users can access them (if you give them access). And by using the export/import library functionality, you can easily make the content available in other environments.

See also this post:https://community.spotfire.com/wiki/whats-new-tibco-spotfire-110#toc-9 and look for theSharing and accessing visualization mods section.

Kind regards,
