You can only open a dashboard within the webclient when you are within the webclient's library. You may file this as an idea in the ideas portal (https://ideas.tibco.com/). If you are working with a personalized website in which Spotfire is embedded, you may be able to pull it off by using CSS, HTML and other coding.
