Crossing data labels in a Line chart

Hi,

Within a Line chart it sometimes happens that data labels crossing/overwrinting each other. Is there a way to fix this Is there an option to set data labels on top or bottom of a line chart in a fixed way

Hi Erwin, one possible solution that came to mind would be to adjust the y axis scale. By adjusting the axis scale you may be able to increase the gap and spacing between the overlapping data labels which could help eliminate the overlap and improve readability. I was specifically thinking about the Line Chart Properties from the Spotfire Analyst User's Guide documentation.

Hi jojile, thanks for your reply. I was already playing with the scales and altough there is some improvement sometimes timelines are so close that there is still an overlap in labelling. It's a pitty that you cannot set labels on top/down of a linechart in a fixed way.
