Do we have a data wrangling option in Spotfire with out using custom expression

The above 3 records I want colapse into on row as "Headache" do we have a data wrangling option in Spotfire.

Without using custom expression.

You have transformation like pivot/unpivot availble. You can combine this with claculated columns. To be able to give more support we need more information from you.

 

How does the rest of data look like

 

Is the main category for example always the first string in a column (Then you could for example split the column by the space and then continue...)

 

Please let us know how your input and the expected output looks like. Depending on the complexity you might be able to wrangle your data without a custom data function.

You can easily split the string to only include "headache" by navigating to the column details panel and selecting "split". Then you can define a delimeter for how you want Spotfire to split the column. Then you can pivot/unpivot as mentioned above! hope this helps.
