Database Connection Issue

Hi Community,

I'm connectingto our Oracle db, and have a primary table and a secondary table. Pulling in the primary table - with no problems - and need to do a join on the secondary table, once I create the join Spotfire throws me an error (see photo) which let's me know there's something on the secondary table that Spotfire doens't like. Has anyone had this issue or does anyone know a solution to this, short of just removing the columns that have the errors in them, by chance

Hello David,

This kind of error comes if Data in Oracle have some junk/invisible Characters which conversion is unknown.

National Language Support (NLS)must be configured on the Oracle Database serverto match the language of the data you will bring intoSpotfire.

Note:If the database server NLS cannot be set to match the language of your data, Oracle provides other methods of setting NLS to a specific database or user. For more information, consult your database administrator or see the Oracle database documentation.
