Fred Gruhn 2
Greetings, We just upgraded our environment to 7.6 (from 6.5). We noticed that our postgres reporting db was getting hammered when our cached projects were getting reloaded. Currently, our Max active connections is set at 20. A member of our team who is responsible for our postrgres db states that we have the ability to support 200 connections and we should increase Spotfire's Max active connections to 100. Does anyone know how to do this I reviewed the options in the Spotfire Config tool (reviewed the datasoure templates for postgres) and I didn't see any reference to Max active connections. I also searched the 7.6 admin manual and didn't see anything that mentioned adjusting Max active connections. Thanks in advance, Fred
Fred Gruhn 2
I figured this out today. In order to change these settings, you need to edit the data source within the Information Designer from the desktop client.
