Tristan Sehgal
Hi, I am trying to use the Javascript API to embed an analysis in a web page following the link here: https://community.spotfire.com/wiki/tibco-spotfire-javascript-api-overview It works with the sample page provided but when I try to connect to my Spotfire server, it comes back with the 403 errors Ive put on the screenshot. I have checked the following: I am logged into Spotfire The analysis opens fine on its own in the web player On the Spotfire server in tibcotss7.12.0tomcatbinconfigrootSpotfire.Dxp.Worker.Web.config I see: Thanks Tristan. Raphael Peguet
Hi, Error 403 generally means access denied. Please make sure you authenticate yourself properly. Did you get Spotfire configured for OpenID Connect authentication And if the analysis is deployed on TIBCO Cloud Spotfire, make sure it is publicly shared. Tristan Sehgal
Hi, As mentioned, I am following the documentation on this page here: https://community.spotfire.com/wiki/tibco-spotfire-javascript-api-overview And I am already logged into Spotfire. There is no mention on that page of having to authenticate or of enabling OpenID connection. I simply trying to use the Javascript API to embed a visualisation on a page, for a user that is already logged into Spotfire with SSO. Thanks Tristan. Raphael Peguet
Hi Tristan, Please review the section "Access the API / Autentication" (link) of the wiki article you're refering to. Raphael
Tristan Sehgal
Hi Raphael, Thanks I seem to have got it working now using the second example instead of the first. Tristan.
