I have done alle the changes acording to the documentation: - stored the certificate in ./certs folder (.pfx) - edited truststoreFile,truststorePass, andtruststoreType - removed thethetruststoreFile,truststorePass, andtruststoreTypeparameters - editedthecertificateKeyAlias - commented connector port 80/ uncomented port 443 section but when restaring the server i get ERROR 1067: Ther process terminaded uneexpectadly In catalina.log Isee: ERROR 2021-01-14T12:11:05,148+0100 [] catalina.startup.Catalina: Cannot start server, server instance is not configured WARN 2021-01-14T12:11:22,755+0100 [] catalina.startup.Catalina: Unable to load server configuration from [C:tibcotss11.1.0tomcatconfserver.xml] org.xml.sax.SAXParseException: The reference to entity "E" must end with the ';' delimiter. ++ I belive there is something wrong with the server.xml file, but not sure what this means Any help is much appreciated. Jens Borgland Posted January 15, 2021 Share Posted January 15, 2021 That sounds like the XML itself is malformed in some way. Without the actual file I cannot tell why but you could try loading into an XML editor of some kind (or an XML aware text editor, like Notepad++) and it will probably tell you what's wrong. Espen Haldorsen 3 Posted January 16, 2021 Author Share Posted January 16, 2021 Yes, I found out by opening the xml file in a XML editor. The issue was caused by the specaial character "&" in the password. I used an new certificate with no special characters and the issue was solved. Thank you!
