Randy Maxwell
I am working with a map and need to zoom in 2 or 3 more levels than Spotfire allows. The tightest zoom available is about 100' per inch (on the monitor) but I would like to go to about 25' per inch. Ihave been unable to find a control through either the user interface orproperties using Python. Has anyone else been successful at this
Kirsten Smith (she/her)
The map chart layers provided in Spotfire are from a third-party vendor, so we can only zoom in as far as the smallest tiles provided. If you need to zoom in farther that these tiles allow then you'll need to look for a different source for the map tiles. Here is one site that might be a place to start: https://openmaptiles.org/ This can be set up in Spotfire under Tools/Options/Map chart On a side note, IronPython scripting in Spotfire can only do things that are available in the program directly, there are no extra functions available.
