Issue with triggering python code from document property change

Hi

I ran into a strange issue. I have a data table in which I am changing the markings. This triggers an r script which changes a document property, which in turn should trigger the python script. For some reason, the python script never gets trigger. I checked the code and the marking change and so does the document property, but for some reason the python script never does. I checked it by purposely adding an error in the script and checking if I get any new error reports, but I dont. What could be causing this If I try to change the property manually then the program crashes. I tried just changing the property without having the r script and it caused the program to crash, even though if I run the program through a button or just hitting run script then it is fine.I am running spotfire v7.11, in case that matters.

The python script is changing the markings in the dataTable being watched, but it would only do it once since the second time it would run, it would just mark the same rows.
