How to open multiple instances of Spotfire in 10.3 client

I use Spotfire 10.3 client and I need to open multiple instances of the client to work on different reports simultaneously.

I've gotten it to work a few times - and I'm not sure how.

Usually, I open the first instance of Spotfire client with no problem - but when I open another Spotfire instance, it completes the authentication process - but instead of opening the second instance, it brings me back to the first instance.

In the Spotfire client, if I right-click in the first instance as select "Open in new window", I get a second window viewing the same library item. If I open a new library item in the new window, the original window also opens the new library item.

I have large data files, so some Spotfire reports take a VERY long time to load - andI'd rather not wait through the entire opening process each time I need to change something on another report.

The issue does not seem to be memory. I've quit other programs to make resources available to Spotfire, but I'm still returned to my first instance when I try to open a second instance.

How can I edit two separate reports at the same time

It might be due to your authentication method. We can open any number of instances to work on multiple files simultanesously.
