"Limit data using filterings" not working

I have two tables T1 and T2, both are linked by common columns.

I also have two visualizations: V1 based on T1 and V2 based on T2; both have the "Limit data using filterings" checkbox checked and both are limited by the same filtering scheme: FS1.

When I go to T1, using the FS1 filtering scheme and make a selection in the filter panel; V1 repsonds to the selection but V2 does not.

I was expecting V2 to respond. What am I doing wrong

I'm running Spotfire 7.11.
