Pop Up and Images not working on webplayer

Has anyone been able to find a working solution for pop ups and changing images based on selections from document property They work in the thick client but not the webplayer. The webplayer wants to render the popups and images as different urls, which is causing the failure. I know others have asked and some guidance has been provided, but none of those solutions.
