Appending to embedded data in Spotfire

Is there a way to append rows to embedded data daily without manual intervention

What I'm trying to achieve:

I need to keep a running count of how many patients are in a nursing unit for each given day. I have an information link that pulls in a midnight census each day with what I need to calculate this value. My thoughts are that I need to take information link for the midnight census (Table A) and have it append to another table (Table B) each day. This way I can count the patients that were occupying the nursing unit for any given day. I will develop my visualization around Table B.
