Spotfire database (metabase) migration from Oracle to SQL Server

Dear Team,

Presently we have Spotfire 6.5.2 and webplayer installed in two different servers. Our Spotfire server connected to Oracle database to store all metabase information.

We are planning to migrate our Oracle database (Spotfire metabase) to SQL server environment. Please let us know the feasibility and associated risks with this process.

Hello,

You can export the library contents from Oracle and then import them back in the sql server spotfire library.

For this you will need to setup a clean spotfire metadata database on the sql server and then import the library contents.
