Summary
Overview
This template employs statistical methods to monitor and ensure that a process operates at its full potential. Statistical process control can be applied to a myriad of different fields such as manufacturing, marketing/sales, healthcare, etc. The template provides various control charts such as Xbar-R/Xbar-S, Individual-Moving Range (IMR), and Exponentially Weighted Moving Average (EWMA). Users also have the option to apply Western Electric Rules for additional insights.
Users can import their own data into this template, select relevant variables, compute control limits, and perform an analysis. The template depicts "out-of-control" processes through a variety of visualizations. The data functions for any of the charts can also be exported out of this template, then imported into other templates for use with data contained in them.
The template is designed for use by a business analyst or citizen data scientist. Some prior knowledge of process control is assumed.
