    Description

    The component listed above contains a difficult to exploit vulnerability that allows a low privileged attacker with network access to execute blind Server Side Request Forgery (SSRF) on the affected system.

    Impact

    Successful exploitation of this vulnerability can result in unauthorized update, insert or delete access to Spotfire Server data and the ability to cause a partial denial of service. This vulnerability could allow an attacker to access resources other than the vulnerable system.

    Solution

    TIBCO has released updated versions of the affected systems which address this issue:

    • TIBCO Spotfire Analytics Platform for AWS Marketplace version 12.0.0: update to version 12.0.1 or later
    • TIBCO Spotfire Server version 12.0.0: update to version 12.0.1 or later
