TSDC-3695 - Oracle - After upgrade from 6.5 some analysis can't connect to the Oracle database.

TSC 7.6.1 HF-006: Hotfix for TIBCO Spotfire Connectors 7.6.x (Released: January 10, 2017)

This hotfix corresponds to Service Pack version 7.6.1. If you apply this hotfix, there is no need to install Service Pack version 7.6.1.

TSDC-3220 - SAP BW - Changing 'Catalog'' in the SAP BW connection dialog caused Spotfire to become unstable in rare circumstances.

TSDC-3226 - SAP HANA - SAP HANA connector did not make use of SAP HANA statement routing.

TSDC-3239 - Oracle - It is now possible to open analysis with Oracle data saved in version 7.6.

TSDC-3243 - PostgreSQL/Greenplum/HAWQ/Redshift - It is now possible to open analysis saved in version 7.6 with data from any of the connectors: (PostgreSQL,Greenplum, HAWQ or Redshift)

TSDC-3283 - Oracle - When creating an Oracle data source, in the connection details, the user did not see the correct authentication method.

TSDC-3254 - Cloudera Hive/Impala - Cloudera Hive connector threw an exception for certain databases after clicking OK in the connection dialog.

TSDC-3252 - Teradata - It is now possible to open an analysis with Teradata data saved in Spotfire 7.6.

TSDC-3288 - Spark - Spark connector now shows columns correctly when used with 1.1.1 driver.

TSDC-3189 - Cloudera Hive and Impala - Set "Allow common name host name mismatch" to default on.

TSC 4.5.0 HF-001: Hotfix for TIBCO Spotfire Connectors 4.5.x (Released: March 30, 2016)

TSDC-2882 - Cloudera Impala - Cloudera Impala did not support options for SSL and SASL.

TSDC-3021 - Cloudera Impala - It is not possible to open a Cloudera Impala source with SASL if credentials are not saved.

TSDC-3055 - Cloudera Impala - Impala tables cannot not be renamed to something with dash characters.

TSC 4.0.0 HF-007: Hotfix for TIBCO Spotfire Connectors 4.0.0 (Released: December 17, 2015)

TSDC-2689 - Analysis Services - Error when connecting to an Analysis Services cube with entries not belonging to measure groups.

TSDC-2731 - Cisco Information Server - Primary key indexes are not loaded when connecting to Cisco Information Server 7.

TSDC-2655 - SAP BW - Unable to connect to SAP BW using SSO when the environment variable SNC_LIB points to a 32-bit DLL, and SNC_LIB_64 points to a 64-bit DLL.

TSDC-2705 - SAP HANA - Performance issues causing loading SAP HANA metadata to take a very long time. Note: You also need to apply TIBCO Spotfire hotfix TS 7.0.1 HF-009 or higher for this to take effect.

TSDC-2403 - Netezza - Large queries from Spotfire using the Spotfire Connector for Netezza, can result in a time out in the Netezza driver.

TSDC-2560 - OData - If connecting to OData using Spotfire Connector for OData takes several minutes it may result in a timeout.

TSC 4.0.0 HF-004: Hotfix for TIBCO Spotfire Connectors 4.0.0 (Released: August 18, 2015)

TSDC-2380 - Cisco Information Server - Cisco Information Server 7.0 driver for TIBCO Spotfire Advanced Data Services/Cisco Information Server is now bundled with TIBCO Spotfire Connectors 4.0.

TSDC-2305 - DB2 - The IBM DB2 connector uses prepared statements when retrieving schema for custom queries.

TSDC-2325 - Greenplum/Postgress/Pivotal HAWK/Redshift - Timeout in the connector.

TSDC-1779 - Analysis Services - Problem connecting to Analysis Services when there exist measures without a measure group.

TSDC-1666 - OData - Incorrect table name metadata is sometimes used causing data loading to fail.

TSDC-1790 - OData - The OData Connector does not close the response stream correctly.

TSDC-1791 - OData - Loading data on-demand using the OData connector does not always handle distinct values correctly.

TSC 4.0.0 HF-001: Hotfix for TIBCO Spotfire Connectors 4.0.0 (Released: April 29, 2015)

TSDC-1627 - Analysis Services - Poor performance when trying to load data from Analysis Services when filtering large attribute hierarchies.

TSDC-1539 - DB2 - Cancelling queries in DB2 might leave the job running on the database side.

TSDC-1661 - Hortonworks - Connector does not work with Unicode support introduced in Hive 0.13.

TSDC-1660 - Hortonworks - Not possible to write custom queries using the Hortonworks connector against Hive 0.13 that contain Unicode characters.

TSDC-1662 - Hortonworks - Connector shows tables from all databases regardless of database selected.

TSDC-1658 - Hortonworks - Not possible to load data from columns that contain spaces using the Hortonworks connector.

TSDC-1667 - MySQL - Sum and Avg aggregation methods return incorrect data type for some input types.

TSDC-1727 - Oracle Essbase - Incorrect grouping of values when using multiple dimensions from Oracle Essbase.

TSDC-1665 - SAP BW - Typing in the query/cube selector causes exception if typing quickly or not matching any cubes.

TSDC-1664 - SAP BW - Exception when connecting to cube that has numeric variable with default value.

TSDC-1663 - SAP BW - Incorrect grouping of values when using multiple characteristics from SAP BW.

TSDC-1759 - SAP HANA - When using Kerberos authentication the SAP HANA connector incorrectly prompts for username and password. 

Note:

TSDC-1759 fixes an issue where users are prompted for credentials when opening an analysis file that has been created using the Kerberos authentication mechanism.

However, already saved analysis files will have to be reopened and saved in order for this fix to take effect.

Perform the following steps before saving the analysis file:

1. Open Edit > Data Connection Properties dialog and click on Settings.

2. Select the Data Source tab, click on Settings.

3. In the Data Source Settings dialog, click Edit.

4. In the SAP HANA Connection dialog, click Connect.

5. Click OK to close all dialogs.

6. Save the analysis file.

TIBCO Spotfire Connector for Teradata Aster

TSC 3.1.0 HF-001: Hotfix for TIBCO Spotfire Connector for Teradata Aster 3.1.0 (Released: May 29, 2015)

TSDC-1772 - Support for Teradata Aster ODBC Driver instead of the Aster Database Driver for ADO.NET.
