Spotfire® Streaming Node Port Usage and Network Interface Binding Behavior

For Spotfire® Streaming nodes here is a summary of some interesting ports and their default network interface binding behaviors:

• Distribution Transport port which defaults to listening on all interfaces but can be restricted using configuration - https://docs.tibco.com/pub/str/latest/doc/html/admin/index.html(see address)
• Service Discovery port which broadcasts on the local host name by default but can be configured to  use other interfaces via configuration -  https://docs.tibco.com/pub/str/latest/doc/html/admin/index.html(see discoveryRequestAddress)
