Spotfire Statistica® Rules Builder

Every organization has rules that govern its behavior. These rules may exist because of physical limitations, cultural practices, and/or regulations. Consistently applying rules can be a challenge. Rules Builder aids in the consistent application of an organization's rules for analysis. Rules can easily be created, saved, shared, and re-used. 

Rules Builder provides a transformation step for data cleaning, analysis and reporting. User-defined rules are created, sequenced, and saved. Then, rules are executed and evaluated for each data row. This module provides:

• general spreadsheet transforms (i.e formulas)
• conditional expressions if/else if/else
• A set of rules can call another set of rules (common rules can be written once and used many times)

Spotfire Statistica® Server needs to add onto this product to provide the following benefit:

• rules are saved into the metadata store, versioned and approved
• execute the latest or latest approved rules

Note: If conditional execution of models is needed (if state = OK then executeOklahomaModel), then you should look at the Spotfire Statistica® Modeler or Statistica® Data Scientist product.
