Spotfire® Data Science - Author

NOTE: The Data Science 1.4 release contains Spotfire Statistica®. 

Spotfire® Data Science - Author is sold per named user. It is used for ad-hoc analysis and to author data science workflows (analytic pipelines) with no coding. Optionally developers can write code and integrate it with the product in templates for citizen data scientists. This named user license contains the following tools and analytics:

• Spotfire® Data Science - Workbench (formerly known as Statistica Data Scientist plus Statistica Stability Analysis) - supported on the Windows operating system
• Spotfire® Data Science - Team Studio - supported on the Linux operating system
• Spotfire® Data Science for Spotfire® Analyst - supported on the Windows operating system, an extension of Spotfire Server, all Spotfire Analysts have the right to use this extension to build Data Functions and execute Data Functions connecting a Statistica Workspace (via Statistica installed on a desktop) to a Spotfire Analysis; Data Science Operations is required to run the "Spotfire® Data Science Service for Spotfire® Software", i.e., to run Statistica Workspace-based data functions in the Spotfire® Web Player.
